what happened?????
well, on sunday our heater stopped heating (it’s been around -11°C/~12°F and colder at night), and we called our janitor on monday morning, and he told us he’d call someone to fix it, and then let us know when they’d come (I offered to call whomever myself, but somehow he couldn’t really give me a number? he’s very weird to talk to on the phone.). so anyway, tuesday night we still hadn’t heard from him, so I called him again and apparently he had called other people in our building (that he confused with us!?) to let them know that we have to call the owners. he said we’d have to call the owners the next morning. which is fucking ridiculous, because it meant a third night without heating and he didn’t even apologize or seem to give a fuck that we’d been freezing for three days now. so I spent the night at Lisa’s, which was lovely, and my roommate could reach the lady who is responsible for our apartment this morning, and there’s a handyman here fixing it right now. but it could’ve been fixed monday if the fucking incompetent janitor had just said “oh, you need to call the owners” the first time we called him… so I got rather pissed at him last night ;)
